About Jennie Embrey

Jennie Embrey graduated from Texas Tech University in 2001 with honors and attained her real estate license her senior year. Upon graduation, Jennie moved back to her home town in Austin, Texas where she worked with a top producing agent. Those years were instrumental in her real estate knowledge. Watching her sleepy Austin town become one of the most sought after destinations in the US, she negotiated sales with clients from all over. In 2002 she moved to San Antonio with her husband. Chris Embrey and his family are long-time San Antonio residents with strong ties to their community. Jennie hit the ground selling real estate with The Phyllis Browning Company. Over the next decade, she saw tremendous growth in the city. Many clients were moving from all over, especially Austin, ironically.

Watching the real estate market rise in value from 2002-2008 gave her much appreciation to conservative home buying strategies. In 2008 the market went through a correction with over-inflated lending practices. The crash hit homebuyers hard. Today San Antonio has recovered and is stronger than ever but weathering the storm taught Jennie to make sure her clients don’t overpay for properties.
